The vision of the English Language Education (ELE) program at the Mendon-Upton Regional School District is to empower our English Learners to achieve English language proficiency, fostering their growth as lifelong learners in their diverse local and global communities.

The English Language Education (ELE) Department in the Mendon-Upton Regional School District is committed to providing equitable, inclusive, and high-quality learning experiences for multilingual students. Guided by the WIDA Standards and MA Frameworks, we support students in developing English language proficiency across academic, social, and cultural contexts. Through collaboration, innovation, and culturally responsive practices, we empower students to thrive as confident learners, effective communicators, and engaged members of their communities.
